			<description><![CDATA[Not my usual fare for a blog post but something interesting about a dead whale and the <a href="http://beta.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/06/13/century.old.whale.ap/index.html">tale it is telling</a>.<br><br>Evidently, long ago, this whale was shot with an exploding spear head and lived with it embedded in its body for possibly 100 years.<br><br>The part that caught my attention was this:<blockquote>"He couldn't have been that bothered if he lived for another 100 years." - <a href="http://beta.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/06/13/century.old.whale.ap/index.html">John Bockstoce</a>, adjunct curator of the New Bedford Whaling Museum</blockquote>Oh, really.
