I just found a set of photos from a trip that Betsy and I took to Boulder in October of 2006.

We went to sleep at night and there wasn't a single flake on the ground. When we woke this is what everything looked like.

Which leads me to ask a favor of any PHP nerds out here . . . how do I get a MySQL COUNT(*) query translated into PHP so that it doesn't look like crazy unique character strings? I can run my query with no problem in phpMyadmin but when I try to make my own page it totally flakes out. Once I figure it out or I get a little assistance we'll have fancy Handle Moxie page.

Today's show falls victim to a mic that flakes out. The show is a good show but Betsy's mic took a dive half way through the show. I did what I could to salvage it but the quality is ok just a lot of popping.

Lots of good stuff in today's show besides the technical issues like Besty explaining what a hot crack head would look like . . . my reply, smokin'.

Today's guest is Amy Gahran from blog.contentious.com.

Today, Amy and I delve into women in podcasting, technology and interface design for women. We also talk about podcasting use in education.

This show was plagued by technical difficulties so there are abrupt cuts. I left them in to demonstrate a little bit of how difficult it can be to use new technologies to perform. I am starting to believe that maybe it is just Windows. My Mac compatriots seem to be handling this stuff better with their MobilePre's while mine wants to flake out if more than three applications are running.
