David has been listening for a long time

This is where we made the mistake
We started drinking right away, heavily
Jeanie kept up with me drink for drink
Mind you she is one third my size
We left the meetup to go dancing

Then Jeanie starts dancing with a bearded Marylin Monroe
Having a great time and we stiffed them on the cab
Just drunk bitches we were
We gotta get to sleep
We have things to do the next day
We surface at 10 am
Jeanie didn't get out of bed till 3

Now I'm chubby
There's a food shortage I'm good for 8 weeks
At 8pm Mrs. and Mrs Smith are going to hop on a romantic cruise
They should have named it, "The Good Ship Jagermeister"

So the next day we rent a car
And we end up dumped in a pile of homeless people

Just realized how strange that euphemism for being sick is because 99.9 percent of the time we are under the weather.

I been sick people!

Now that things are above the weather it is time to get some work done. All those awaiting email . . . await no longer.

It's here! Friday's show is the late nighter that we promised.

Thansk again to everyone who has sent messages of concern for us and our family. But everything is cool. No illnesses, troubles or double chins with mold; we are on track.

We have ben very busy with good stuff that we will talk about next week. This good stuff has nothing to do with podcasting or eBay.

Betsy took me to see the first live recording of NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me! in Chicago as a gift for being sick all day on Thursday. A couple things happened at the show that were really cool besides being at the first one they will record for their new format.

One was that Betsy and I were interviewed about the show by a Chicago Tribune reporter. Of course I had to drop that we were podcasters. So maybe in Saturdays paper the reporter will mention it. Maybe we'll get cut but it was cool nonetheless, as I run out the door to go buy the paper this morning and check.

The second was that the host of the show, Peter Sagal, was meeting people in the lobby and signing autographs. I got this special little write up on mine. We are Peter Sagal's favorite podcasters. Proof below.

Today's show is Besty and Kris getting warmed up after the holiday weekend. We're both still sick so today's show is a shorter than usual and probably even less focused.

Starting today we've moved th show to a new format that listeners can count on:

M W F - Croncast will be co-hosted Betsy
T Th - Crocast will be hosted by Kris and he will speak with a guest

I imagine that once we are both over our illnesses things will get back to the pace they were before with banter, humor and the same sounds (sans coughing) that you are used to.
