As a very long-time listener (who is always up to date!) I feel compelled to make the following requests. First, could you possiblely lighten up on the use of the word “seriously?” I used to have the same habit in that I would consistently say: “to tell you the truth.” It took me a long time to break the habit but I feel much better now that I have. I would wager that nearly a quarter of your words in every podcast consist solely of the word “seriously.” Just a thought.
Second: On the show Lost they once had an episode entitled “What Kate Did.” I would really love an episode of Croncast entitled “What Rita Did.” Based on the staories over the years I understand that she can be a bit challenging. However it seems like there have been hints of some major incident that led to a strained relationship. If it’s something way personal I understand not sharing, but it just seems like a big part of your story that we have not been privy to. As you are volunteers you can disclose whatever you choose, but I have always been curious about why this background has never been completely fleshed out.
Thanks for always keeping my interest!

@Roger - Thanks for the feedback . . . I will seriously consider it. I never noticed it before. Think of it as a little too much cowbell. I will seek to tone it down and try some shaker.
On paragraph two, tempting. But I am not quite sure that we would release it as a regular show. It would be a total downer. Let me think about this one.

You know what...it's funny because I read the "seriously" comment before I listened to 439. Now that I have listened to it I can't recall anybody saying the word "seriously." All I remember is laughing my ass off! Thanks Kris and Betsy for making this rural midwesten housewifes day a little bit more exciting.

OMG, I had no idea that there are places where you might not be allowed to make a fence out of anything you want!! How, exactly, do they stop you? Is there a division in police department for this? Seriously, I want my taxes back if I am paying salary for someone to knock on doors and be like, "Yeah, about that fence made of Plymouth K-cars and Dixie cups...." Maybe I should move to a bigger town.
