Am I jumping the gun or is the link broken? When I try to download the episode it's coming up with Best of Year One.

Betsy's right Kris: you were an a-hole. I'd have definitely put something nasty in your drink if you'd said that to me when I was a bartender.
But since it happened to someone else I laughed.

Kris, you nerd, you ordered top shelf liquor in one of the most expensive cities in the US! I bet each shot was 6 bucks. Thats why she asked you, "are you sure?" Way back in 1980 I drank Iron Butterflies, a shot of Baileys, Vodka and Kahlua in a LOWBALL and that cost 7.00. You spaz!

I second the 'asshole' sentiment. You broke a cardinal rule - don't mess with the people who prepare your food and drink. At least wait until you have your drink before you belittle them.
Kris, you think bartenders can't pour an ounce? They practice pouring ounces. Any bartender worth his salt can pour two ounces as close as you could measure it. Of course, when people give them a hard time, those ounces get a lot smaller and more expensive.
... BTW - Bailey's and Jager? Disgusto. Why not throw in a little Red Bull and clam juice while you're at it?

Baileys is a girls drink. Jagermeister is what frat boys drink in college. If you want to impress people drink something more grown up! LOL. Try whiskey. Beer??? They have great local beer there..Besides, your choice probably had 5,000 calories in it and will put you in a diabetic coma.

@dan - i abide by this rule nearly all the time.
however, prior to this i had three steamboats and jack straight-up on the rocks . . . maybe my judgment was impaired a bit.
the coma that @larry references doesn't sound all that pleasant but i'm not convinced yet to hang it up.

Ahhhh... now the real story comes out. I'll give a little leeway for being half-lit. However, considering what you had already drank, was the Bailey's and Jager dairy/licorice combo really the wisest drink order? When you get up to drink #5, it's time to simmer down. Remember, you're not 21 anymore.

I am in awe of Betsy's mad ebay/replacements earnings. ROCK ON, GIRL!
and Kris? never ever EVER get uppity with the people who make your food and drink! yikes! I hope for your sake she didn't spit in it. and $30, holy crap! Betsy's right...you need a non-alcoholic mixer in that drink. Like ummm...milk?
ewwwwwww...I think I just threw up in my mouth a little...

Kris,
try adding Butterscotch Schnapps into the drink. You'll get an Oatmeal Cookie.

Transvestite Mennonite? Intresting, I grew up Mennonite and that would be a most interesting combination, not to mention a total contradiction! I'd have to see that one.

As Brain said dude that is not an Oatmeal cookie...for an Oatmeal cookie you need to add several ingredients. There are several versions but as Brian mentioned each starts with Butterscotch Schnapps and then some version of: Kahlua, Goldschlager, or Cinnamon.
Here is a site with many many drinks using Bailey's and Jaegermiester...it does not however list your specific combo: http://www.barnonedrinks.com/drinks/by_ingredient/j/jagermeister-571.html
UHM....not sure how to break this though...sadly I did find this site:http://www.dooms.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=91&mode=linear which does give your particular combo a name: uh....gosh this is tough....uhm...
Deer Sperm.
Sadly another google search on Jaeger and Deer Sperm revealed many additional sites confirming the name.
You may want to consider a new drink...but your call of course...but maybe last call?

I am several episodes late in commenting on this whole drink issue, but I meant to. Didn't you only recently start drinking alcohol? This is the part I don't get. I have been drinking alcohol for many, many years, and yet I don't think that I could handle a $30 glass of jaeger/baileys. It just seems like a crazy place to start. Shouldn't you be drinking wine coolers or something? Or Nat light? I mean, thats where I started...

@lisa - there seems to be consensus on this. i think most people are looking out for my well being. i do mostly drink the guinness when out.
it's been about nine months since i picked up alcohol again. i'm thinking that the wine coolers could bring another type of scorn and show prep.
