I listened to 2 shows today and can't remember in which show you were talking about the plaque hanging in your kitchen when you were growing up, Betsy. But it made me think of the one that's hanging in my kitchen - "Having kids is like being pecked to death by a duck." I had it long before the kids could read, and boy, did they take offense when they actually read it! But it is so true! So, Kris and Betsy, you are two duck-pecked people from the sounds of it!
Love your podcast - I'll listen to it no matter what format it's in! I've been listening for a couple years now and I'm so relieved you're not going bye-bye!

Our kitchen plaque says, "The cook is not responsible for pet hair in the food." :-)

Damn, that was a funny show! I loved the "community college cinder block kiln" side rant-- Kris is still bringin' the funny!
Another pro-Kris note; I gotta say, Bless This Mess doesn't work for me. That says 'Grandma' without the Glamour.
Also the whole Red Hat Gradndma Glamour porn thing cracked me up... and of course there's the whole alternate meaning of Redhat, which is the linux distribution.
Kinda hillarious that two groups that pretty much could not be more different have the same name. Can't you see some 19 year old hacker with a pierced eyebrow showing up at the wrong kind of Red Hat Convention?
