Betsy, I had the same "wet floor" issue with our 2003 Pontiac Vibe. It turned out to be a hose that drains the condensation from the AC/heat system down through the floorboards...the hose popped out of the drain hole, and thus the condensation leaked all over the floor of the passenger side instead of running outside like it was supposed to. Maybe the issue with the Volvo is similar? Good luck with the car issues..I hate car loans and feel your pain, we went through that about 5 yrs ago, ended up getting an $8000 trade on a car we owed almost $20K on.....
