Croncast 2006-06-16 Croncast - 2006-06-16.mp3

Show: #237
Length: 1:28:43
Size: 60.9 mb
Format: mp3

Betsy and her husband Kris June 16, 2006

Act #3 is the longest single Croncast we have ever recorded. Every minute is necessary as we explain that this episode definitely isn't something you want to listen to with your kids around.

Why is that? We take you from Denver to Naperville in only 1 hour 23 minutes when it took us 18 hours straight. Which takes some heavy lifting and many, many four letter words.

Show notes will arrive at a later date.I am still trying to process this part of the vacation and reliving it again isn't something that I am looking foward too.

More will follow about the contest for the 30GB iPod also. For now you will have to listen to the show. Enjoy!.

Coming up on Monday . . . Vacation: Act #4 The Aftermath

2 I noticed that johnelwaydodge.com domain is available. You should buy it and put up a special webpage devoted to your favorite car dealer. ;)

3 Chris, you should absolutely buy that domain and put up links to these stories and images. Best episodes ever! I'm sorry you had to go through it all, but this is some of the best entertainment I've had in a while. Thank you. Can't wait for Ep#4.

4 I know pity doesn't help so I will just say that I am glad you guys made it back to Naperville in one piece. I was cooking and had a knife in my hand while I was listening to your story -- not a good idea, especially at the part where Betsy was slamming her fist into the manager's desk to accentuate each syllable. Great shows, guys. Sorry you had to go to Hell, aka Denver, and back to tell these stories.

5 Wow! It sounded bad from the podcast, but dang! They sure did a number on slowski. Glad you guys made it back alive and hopefully there is no more cash bleeding from your eyes.

8 omgosh!!! I am soooo sorry this trip turned out like this for you. Really, honestly, colorado is a beautiful place...unfortunatly, you got stuck in the armpit of the east slope. I would have had you come visit me, but Slowsky would NOT have made it over the mountians. And people wonder why I have NO problem living 250miles AWAY from Denver!!!

9 I am only 1/3 of the way through Vacation Part 3, and I am dying. I can't believe that Kris held it together when the guy at the dealership told him that Slowsky ruined the carwash! Aaargghh! I can't wait to listen to the rest.

10 Thanks guys! Very good to be home. The whole trip was like getting a tattoo; pain was necessary and in the end we'll have an indelible mark from this trip.

Hey Anne, Betsy's store name or eBay name is 'thesmithmall'.

11 Thanks Chris for the info. about "thesmithmall" Betsy sent it to me before you left. The "Anne" above is a different Ann but maybe she too asked about Betsy's eBay site, LOL. I live the other direction of Denver in Manhattan Kansas. Like everyone else, I've enjoyed these shows greatly but sorry you had to have such a terrible vacation. I'm assuming that you decided not to stop and see any of your fans on the trip. You mentioned the Denver zoo. Did you have a chance to check out the Omaha Zoo that I recommneded? I'm copying your Croncast to CD to share with a friend in hopes of getting her hooked on your show. Take care. Ann from the Little Apple
