Dragging Betsy to see The Black Keys last night was pretty satisfying. Not in the sense that it was going to be torture for her or that the Black Keys are on my short list for bands to see live, but for the simple reason that she loves me.

After she got out of her seat without a word and came back with a t-shirt I knew that I really had her. You would think that 14 years of hanging out together and 10 years of marriage would have opened my eyes to this fact.

The show was great and I would recommend that any Black Keys fan check them out on this tour. If you don't have the time NPR is offering a download of their D.C. show at 1 hour and 9 minutes, but it doesn't do justice to watching Patrick beat the shit out of the drums.

I'm bummed I missed that show, but thanks for the head's up on the NPR download... Now we have something to listen to on our ride home from Nana's.

NP, Mike. The set on the MP3 from NPR is the same as what they played last night.

So it is almost like you were there.
