Kris,
I can't get the podcast updated through iTunes. It acts like there are no new podcasts there. It works though iTunes at home on my iMac but my ipod is synced through my pc laptop. I have tried deleting and resubscribing but still no luck. Suggestions?

Fun and informative show! I think it is great that you are 'putting' it out there.
Glad to hear Sunday was a success! We were sorry to miss it!

Hey Byron, that sucks. Try to unsubscribe again, say yes to move old to trash or recycle whatever it says and try this feed:
http://www.croncast.com/feedbuffet/1/main/feed.php
Let me know how it goes. If it doesn't work I'll make some calls.

Hey Kris (or Byron)-
I couldn't get itunes to download the croncast either, until I clicked directly on the croncast and selected "update podcast." There was a slight delay, then it started. But it didn't immediately download for me like it normally does, either. That was at about 7:30 this morning, central time.

Kris & Betsy,
We love the idea of the "Nick T. Rating System." It seems like it would meet everyone's needs/concerns; i.e. those that don't want the show censored and those mommies out there that need help determining appropriate content for their kids.
Thanks!
Nick T. and Nick T.'s Mom

Kris and Betsy,
I am Nick T's Papa. I have been following your show since almost the beginning or your broadcast. My family and I love you both. I particularly appreciate that you are family people just like us. I want you to know that, of course, our Nick is very real and turning out to be quite an interesting person. Nick's letter to you about the use of profanity on your program was an opportunity for him to express how he felt about something that is very important to him. I want to thank you for reading his letter, taking him seriously and giving him the chance to make a difference. He has his own ideas about things and his mother and I support him in stating how he feels. Your interest in his opinions and the creation of the Nick T Rating Scale has meant a great deal to him and to us. Thank you for making a difference for him. Nick T's Papa

Hi Kris and Betsy,
Wow! another milestone Croncast. You're both inspirations. Err Zeus (the near silent 3rd host); not so much. Can't wait to hear about the Wii tournament. I will make sure my wife listens to it. If Betsy likes the Wii, (and it improves geek/non-geek social interaction) my chances of getting one improve dramatically...No pressure.

No way!
That's funny in the same way the movie Fargo is funny - twisted and you can't believe you're actually laughing at it.

For the show on 1/31 we implement a version of the Nick T Rating System. I say version because we haven't decided what they will actually sound like but the 1-5 ratings choices I think will stick.
And, yes, thanks for the comments on the show. It was just time to talk about what we've been talking around for years.
And don't worry James, it might feel a bit wrong but if you can't laugh about a lactating man what can you laugh about?

I always wondered why I feel like the world was coming to an end for me. This show just keeps helping me.

oh my god...I am so sorry but I could NOT STOP LAUGHING!!!!
I am now going to go read the warning labels on the lexapro. I'm a chick, lactation would be slightly less embarrassing...
but not by much.

I just listened to this show for the first time, and I am really really you decided to record this and put it out. I try to speak as openly and honestly as I can about my mental health issues on my blog, and I know it can be really hard to discuss in a public forum, even in retrospect. Anyway, good for you for being able to get through it.
And I'm glad the lactation thing cleared up.
