Congrats on show 400.
Don\'t even think about quitting. I need my Croncast to get me through my day.

Congratulations on 400! Also, I think you should have a listener contest to come up with a new show name...I definitely think a new name would go a long way towards getting more listeners (whereas quitting, on the other hand, would not). A few suggestions to get the ball rolling: "Life from the Basement", "Stuck in Suburbia," "The Betsy's Funnier than Kris Show," "Show your Moobs," and "Goodwill Hunting" (oops, that last one's taken).

Thanks Guys!
I do like the idea of having a contest to rename the show. "The Betsy's Funnier than Kris Show" is good but disturbing, Craig, at the same time ;-).

Congrats on show 400. I listened to it on the plane today and yes people were wondering what in the hell is he listening to and why is he laughing.
If you do change the name my suggestion would be (as if you asked for it) to publish the show under both names for a some time or redirect Croncast to the new feed because people are lazy and if they manually have to change the feed you run the risk of loosing listeners.

Please don't ever talk about quitting again, the thought of never hearing new Croncast shows again is depressing, please continue until you are
old and toothless!

Please don’t quite! Don’t even talk like that. Someday Betsy will be more famous and richer the Roseann and we can all say we knew her when… and Kris I love your laugh you have no idea! That episode with the “pumps the milk” and you lolled for like 3 minutes is the best podcast ever.

You know, when I was trying to teach myself unix to get the ical/blackberry/gcal program to work, I got so excited because I found out what cron meant. It was like lights went off!

Hey, hope y'all keep doing the show forever. If not, maybe you can license the rights and someone can do a spin-off, like "Croncast: Minneapolis" or "Croncast: Special Volvo Unit," etc.?

licensing rights wouldn't be a bad way to create a franchise out of this.

First off, your neighbors are real assholes. Doesn't everyone get crap in their yard once in a while? I've probably got beer cans, McDonald's bags and Post Gazette advertisements in my yard right now.
Next, Croncast isn't all the bad of a name. The name isn't all that important. (Google, yahoo, piggly wiggly) Croncast is short, unique and easy to say and spell. I say stay with it.
I say you need to advertise more. The tell a friend Friday thing is probably on the right track. You know lots of nerds, have them put you on their blogs.
Also maybe feature some movie, book or tv show reviews once in a while. It might generate more traffic to your site to have these things mentioned in the show notes and people might have a listen if they see the episode show is about the latest Harry Potter book. Once they listen to one show, they'll be hooked.
And finally, congrats on the 400th show! How you guys make time for this is way beyond me. The shows recently have been really good. (the improv maybe?) Don't stop, my fabric covered box will be so lonely without you guys.

Congrats on hitting 400! Knew you'd make it.
On another note: I understand the going crazy with work scenario. After putting in 80 hours last week, likely the most I have ever done EVER, I was ready to collapse.
Keep up the great work and we'll be looking forward to the next show in Naperville. ;)

I concur--congrats on #400.
Also, next time you decide to go more than 25mph over the speed limit, do it in CA, not CO! I did it once and they didn't threaten to take my license away, nor did they make me appear in court. The only different punishment than a lesser speeding ticket was no option for traffic school to wipe it off your record and a way steeper fine.
