1 Kris-with-a-'k', I have a suggestion: Bring a recording device, other than the laptop, so you can talk with the people you meet and then edit it all when you get back.

2 hey sue, i just happen to have a couple of iriver ifp 799's that are ready to go!

the thought of capturing the conversations with strangers hadn't crossed my mind and could be a new way to grease my anti-social wheels.

4 Use the iRivers with no editing and call it "Croncast Un-Plugged". If you make a left turn and find yourself heading towards Georgia let us know.
