Happy belated birthday Kris! I know what you're talking about with the cocaine cake - Borders used to have a drink called the Mocha Freeze back in the 90s when I worked there and it did the same thing to me the cake did to you. Bizarre. It has to be the caffeine.

Sounds like you should have bought a Costco sized box-o-wine to go with the cake. I'll experiment this weekend to see if you can offset the more extreme side effects with big box bulk booze.

@pam - My guess is that it was all the caffeine that was packed into it since we all had the same reaction.

I listen to all of your shows, but my husband rarely listens to podcasts. He listened to this one and wants some cake!
