Evo got my girl hooked on your show and she in turn got me hooked. How do you keep track of your listeners? Itunes subscribers? Site downloads? A combonation of the two?

evo is a good dude.
the tracking part is easy since i am freakishly attracted to statistics. croncast runs on a custom platform that i wrote a few years ago.
i can track all subscribers, downloads and site traffic in real-time.
for this i am looking at our regular listener subscription numbers and downloads.
the beginning baseline for this is a daily average of 550 subscribers hitting us a day with average download of 475 on show days.

So... If you're looking out there in the SF area you should probably check out the east bay. It's more affordable and not in a more dangerous way. Unless you're looking at the area between Oakland and Hayward. Also that area south of Hayward, (look at a map) is the northern part of the Silicon Valley. Tons of job opputurnities for Kris. And I'm from there! Good luck.

So why not call the new show "Life is show prep"? Too many words? What about "Die Laughing"?

That's a good point about the name but it was swiped by a listener and they started their own show. You got to move fast in the internet world!

Glad to hear you aren't leaving. After finally getting hooked on the show and then find out a couple of weeks later that you announce you're stopping at 500...really sucked.

Okay, so we (the listeners) want three shows a week. You only want to do one. Let's compromise and say two per week. That's fair, right?

How not to by a Hermit Crab by SueB:
1. Probably should NOT buy them on vacation at Cape May.
2. Should return the sluggish one immediately.
3. Don't be surprised if the weak one ends up chopped into pieces one day.

I got hooked on Croncast ironically after stumbling across the Resale Queen p-cast. Adn of course I am a faithful fan and downloaded everything from iTunes and got caught up to realtime about 3 weeks ago. Very very very happy that Croncast will go on in a new form. But was curious...what happened with Resale Queen?
