I was so glad to hear you guys again...Like hearing old friends!! It sounds like you are still off balance but dealing with it. I can relate to that! I was curious, none of my business but since I have been renting in my new move and now looking for houses to rent, how much were the apts. you were describing?? In the apt I am in its driving me crazy how small the fridge is.All I do is go to the store. How is Betsy dealing with the small kitchen? So much to hear from your adventures! Welcome back!

Pisses me off that listeners think they have the right to write to you with their psychoanalysis of your choice to not podcast from time to time (or any other issue you dicuss.) I'd like to see them try doing a podcast for years. Its not like we pay for this and are getting cheated. Sheesh! Anyway.... happy to hear you again and glad all is going well despite the speed bumps along the way.

yay! Great to have you guys back.
A while back, we were thinking of moving to NY. I was hoping to get some tips about how to find a job and get an apartment in a new city. I would probably prefer to have all that setup before actually moving. You guys are a lot braver than me. Instant show prep!
Wait, is "braver" the right word?

Hey Kris, thanks for the new number...I'll definitely give you a call soon. Things are going reasonably well...my life isn't nearly as exciting as yours but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing! I've never been to CSP but heard about it and figured it had to be close to you based on the show.
Talk with you soon.

hey guys, we're working our way toward some shows but finding space and time in our apartment to record has been tough. i should say impossible.
i have been working on the site for about 3 weeks on and off when i can steal some time to prepare it for new shows. it is 95% done. some of you have even seen it. we just need to knock out some shows.
switching to a paid show means that once we start we need to deliver on time all the time. so we are working on finding the time to record.
my current contract job doesn't allow me much time at all to think or do anything else during the week leaving betsy with the kids all day. at night by the time they are asleep, homework done, baths, etc. it is usually time for one of us to be asleep as well so we can getup with the kids in the am. the other one of us enjoys some alone time. that is how we spend everyday right now.
our current plan is record the episodes for the week on one day late in the evening. one of us will have to suck it up and wake up with the kids but that is the way it goes.
if this doesn't work out for us we are going to try hiring a friend's nanny to take the kids out for a couple hours every week so we can get the shows done.
that is the skinny on the show. no more, no less. that is what we have going.
sorry to see so many of you unfollowing me on twitter as well. i suppose that times change.
we will be back, we're just not sure when right now. hoping all is well with you! |
