I loved the comment about Betsy being one to watch the 'train wreck'. With that in mind you might enjoy the "Church Of The Train Wreck" podcast that Chip Taylor has on the Train Wreck Records website. Take a peek (http://trainwreckrecords.com/church.html), you might like what's there. I know the stuff Chip and Carrie do is some of the most enjoyable and listenable Americana I've heard recently.
