I used Empire about a year ago to fix my house up to sell. The work and materials were good quality and I had no complaints. But my initial interview was at my house also. For carpet and vanier flooring, he quoted $6000. When I groaned, he asked, "How much were you planning on spending?" I said about $4000. He said, if we agree to that price can we do it tomorrow? I said yes. The came down on the price 30+ I'll never know how much they really would have come down. But dont let the initial price scare you. With your skills, I bet they might even pay you to allow them to put it in. ;)
