Hooray for your stay in Boulder, Kris! It was good to get to meet you in person and I totally hope they fly us out there more often (I'm sure Ben and Stepan won't mind--free food for everyone!)
And wow, thanks for making me look bad--I didn't fold my sheets and towel and stick them by the washer!

Hiya! First things first... love the show. Now I made it out of high school about the same time that you guys did (circa 1995) and I've never heard the term wren or madrigal. Now I know I wasn't the coolest kid in school, so I looked them both up on the good ol' urban dictionary and came up short both times. I even looked up
"magicals" in case I didn't properly hear through Betsy's dipthong. I was hoping that could you explain to the audience what either of these terms mean. thanks.

Stupid question - With the weather so cold (I heard -20C)do kids go to school / mail get delivered etc? Or does the city sort of shut down for the day? The coldest I've ever been outside was -15C, it was impossible and painful. Am I missing something obvious?

Not a stupid question.
Things shut down a lot. Today no school for kids. These last few weeks have been so freaking cold.
We need to move some place warm. Got any ideas?

Schools closed today due to the snow, not the cold. Has to be about -15 F ~ -20 F for them to close the schools. Private schools tend to close when it is a bit warmer.

No problem folks, that's not even close to the worse I've been called! Stay with us in the frigid north, were bound to be building good karma!
