This looks just like where I grew up. I am so glad I escaped my personal hell as well. BTW I think your camera take great shots.

I could swear I heard a banjo start playing while I was looking at those pictures.

The modern day equivalent of the banjo is turning on the radio in said areas of the United States and hearing "Born to be Wild".

wow! I grew up in a semi-rural area in southern NJ but that was NOTHING compared to this! wow Kris - you are probably the most esteemed and successful person EVER to grace the streets of that town. It looks like NOBODY lives there. That shot of the 'uptown' in the rain is downright depressing...Is that car outside the library the one person in town who knows how to read? hehe. just kiddin...... Glad you guys moved on up like the Jeffersons to your lovely NAPERhood!!!!
PS: does that cat have horns like the devil? very suspicious....

if that's the case, then even parts of NJ are similar to those "said areas".

Kris, thanks for the Naperhoods plug. I saw the comments and was about ready to chime in.
Naperhoods.com is very "Web -0.1" (as we call it in the biz) :)
