Gots to keep it short on the show notes today because it is the Man's birthday and I need to get him set up for the day.

At the end of the last show we went into the found bones a bit but today we bring that story to a conclusion. At a length of around 45 minutes for today's show, you can rest assured that it was another thing that would only happen to Kris.

Here's a couple of keywords and phrases to describe it:

bones in the river
park police
city police
crime scene investigator
post 9/11 monster rescue vehicle
investigators
wet suit
bald man in shorts

I just thought of this!! From the movie SHORT CUTS:
Stuart Kane goes on a fishing trip with some buddies (Buck Henry and Huey Lewis) and they discover a dead body in the water. Upon his return, Claire Kane is repulsed to discover that Stuart and his buddies left the girl in the water until the end of the weekend so they could continue fishing.

I love Betsy you are right on that is the way small town people think about things. Funny enough I find myself scanning for tarps and dead bodies as well. I always wondered if I was the only one.

Way to go Kris on spending time with the man. I total understand the 5 miles away from home alone doing something stupid. My childhood was full of moments like that. That might explain the 6 Broken bones and many stitches.

Keep kicking ass.

Kris...
I just looked up the Beauty and the Beast Costume pic... oh... my... I have been laughing, hand pounding the floor, for more than 3 minutes... For ALL of you who read this, do the research, find the pic... Kris looks like he's about to be shot... all wide-eyed... THIS needs to be on the FRONT PAGE of the website.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :)

I love it when my fellow commuters move away from the crazy laughing lady on the 6:45am bus.

Super story Kris.

Usually it is the "story teller" Betsy that has me laughing, but Kris.... you had me laughing so hard while I was driving in the car, I had to keep from spraying my coffee all over my dash and almost lost it out my nose instead. Right on!

First off, thank you Betsy, I now know I'm not the only freak who scans ditches and secluded areas for bodies. I think it's a result of too many horror movies on high school. And secondly, the last five minutes of this show were so funny, it made me sad when you ended it! Great show.
