Well, you can add one more item to my list of reasons why I'm your unlikeliest listener: I'm a father of twins. Maybe it's better if we never meet in person... you guys hate everything I'm about.

Man. Ditto on that one. I'm a Mom of twin boys. You guys were a bit mean and slightly on target.

Have no fear Dan/Sarah, it wouldn't be the same if Kris and Betsy didn't strike a chord with each and every listener. I think it's the attempt to piss us off - one listener at a time. And I'd expect/want nothing less.
They've crushed my beliefs in food, cars, toothpaste, and bike riders - but I wouldn't miss a show.
And I've met them in person...

I don't know anything about the strength of my wife's pelvic floor (or lack thereof), so I wasn't exactly offended by their comments. I'm just amused by the fact that (except for my suspicious lack of a pit bull) I seem to be the anti-Smith. My beliefs, hobbies, and even my family makeup all draw ire.
Sarah - I have boys, too. Fraternal, 7 months old. Yours? Isn't it weird walking around with multiples? Pushing our double stroller, I feel like a one-man carnival parade for all the attention I seem to draw.

Yep... I'm pretty much an opposite-from-the-smiths too... pro-life, rather conservative, Christian... but I still love the show (and Kris and Betsy)... in fact, I find that both of you guys have rather traditional views about family, etc. - especially the way you talk about your kids and loving each other - and I think that you are more honest than most folks I know... so, when you guys say something I disagree with... I just laugh along, shake my head, and wait for the next "Ohhh, Baby..." or "Bears..."

Kris don't hold back, just say whatever comes into your head. I am still laughing about the magic bean.

Betsy,
I know a downtown Naperville bike cop. He looks a little bit like Liv Shriver

I think its funny that you guys are about 10 years younder than me but you have pretty much the same thoughts, remember the same music, etc. I wonder if its because we grew up in the midwest? I have lived all over the US and felt like an outcast outside of Minnesota, especially in the deep south. Thats why I appreciate you guys, I dont always agree with you but like another poster said, thats ok. I respect our differences! Keep up the good work!

I laughed to hear singleton used this way. I'd only heard it in Bridgit Jones' Diary to refer to all us unmarried, hard to place at a dinner folks.
