Croncast - Richie and his friend Kris Ep. 1. Today's guest is Richie Carey from www.careyinternet.com. We talk about using blogs for business solutions from small to large to engage customers. Of course that is the intended focus but the meandering began early.
Mixed with technical difficulties with Skype I was able to get the show together. We should have done a Dawn and Drew double ender but instead I opted to record everything locally. My soundcard has a lot of extra noise that I didn't hear when recording the show. At one point I commited sin of messing with audio levels wjile recording . . . you'll know when!
This show was a lot of fun to record. Thanks again to my new friend Richie Carey who will be a frequent guest on the show, I hope.

Croncast - Betsy and her husband Kris Ep. 8. Today's show is focused on the usual stuff, baby names, identity theft and removing my equipment from the garbage. Betsy tossed out the small mic stand that she prefers to use for the show because the man was chasing one of the cats with it . . . it weighs 10 lbs. Getting ready for season 2 of HBO's Carnival and the new stuff they have put up in the OnDemand section like a season 2 preview.
Tomorrow's show will be with Richie Carey from www.careyinternet.com about using blogs for business solutions from small to large to engage customers.

Croncast - Betsy and her husband Kris Ep. 6 is all killer with no filler. . . maybe all filler but it is a hoot! I just typed hoot. The first bit of the show is Kris messing up and Betsy messing with him. This part was going to be removed but we deemed it pretty funny after listening to it and left it in.
Music in todays show is provided by permission from Jolie Holland, a wonderful musician with cogent lyrics and a voice signed off on by the choir.

Today I recorded after dropping the man off at school and listening to Shane's podcast from yesterday. Thanks for the feedback Shane and the beginning of the file naming discussion that is surely going to be important for user and developer experiences with this convergent medium. I made sure to add it to today's podcast.
This podcast is all geek all the way. I get back to yesterday's article from the Chicago Tribune and finish my thoughts on it and give a podcasting and content forecast. Let's see what else. . . oh yeah the mic breakdown and software round-up on my pc that I use for production.

The idea for my show is the same as a million others but I am going to force myself to have a daily show that is available by 3 p.m. CST for the commute home. I'll be doing interviews and discussions, topics will vary and hopefully next week some comedy skits.
For Friday November 12, 2004 I am doing a special show that will focus on favorite Chris/Kris moments. What? Everybody know at least one Chris/Kris, male or female. Send me a link to or an email attachement of your favorite or memorable Chris/Kris moment and I will stick it into my show on Friday. The original idea for this show was to have my family and friends tell me how good this Kris is, but I thought it would be more fun to talk about every Chris/Kris that people know and not necessarily myself.
These can be good or bad Chris/Kris experiences but not phony ones or name replacements of some other funny story that doesn't have a Chris/Kris in them. If you send in one that I use I will whore myself out and plug your site, podcast. . . anything that you want. Send responses to k@kristophersmith.com. If I don't receive anything then you will just have to listen to all the glory and idiot things that this Chris/Kris has done.
